Background: Her father being a bladmaster, Maurelle devoted her life to the study of swordplay and archery. Then she was shunned by her race because she questioned the Drow's ways of doing things and their relgion. She then, left to seek adventour.

Since being shunned by her race, Maurelle has gotten used to the Sun and sleeping at night, she also tries to cover up her true race, by braiding her hair close to her ears, so they are not visible.
