Laguna is a natural leader, and you would think that he was born to fight as he always delves into battle without thinking. But he is also a very talented writer. But despite these qualities nothing ever seems to fulfill him.

Laguna is a romantic young man and a part time writer but has yet to find his purpose in life. Despite Laguna's qualities he lacks self esteem. Although he is a great soldier and tactician he is not one at heart. Yet, people look up to and admire him, even though he does think that he blunders through life.
