Nicknames: While Atan prefers being called by his name, some soldiers nicknamed him "Attie" and sometimes "Lunatic".

Species/Race: most probably human, but the possibilty of being a hybrid human-elf is existant

Description/Appearance: wild, unkempt dark hair; tanned, generally dirt-covered skin; gray eyes; medium build with no particularly strange features except for a distinctly elfish manner

Background: Atan was born to a human woman who died giving birth. He was then raised by an Elfin woman, who claimed to be his Aunt on his Father's side. This woman, named Lakina, taught Atan the basics of survival in the woodlands, where they both lived. Atan developed an incredible resistance to fatigue, by continually working and building in that area of his person. When he became old enough, he decided that he wanted to join the King's Military, and did well until his commanding officer learned of his unconventional fighting style, which not only endangered Atan, but those other soldiers around him. When this method of attacking the enemy resulted in the death of another soldier, who also happened to be Atan's friend, Atan was exiled from the city in which he lived, and now has to survive on his own.

Abilities/Magicks: No real magic, but an incredible stamina, which allows him to do hard labor all day and then sleep for three or four hours with no ill effects.

Weapons/Items: Besides his clothing, Atan carries the following with him at all times: a shortsword of the King's Military, a small staff made of Forest Hardwood, a medical crash kit (with salves and bandages), a violin, and a rope w/ a grappling hook

Nature/Alignment: Atan is nuetral, leaning toward good, but he is most definitely chaotic at whatever alignment he chooses

Special Notes: Lakina has been killed by a raiding party. Atan has made it one of his goals to find the group of savages that did this and return the favor.
